Aquaria KLCC

Le entry for today is about Aquaria KLCC which I should put like a month ago. :D

Me going there because I have to make-up with Dzariff because I didn't go for his 1st birthday part because i have to go for the office's Family Day in Malacca. The real plan was the whole family except for Dak Abang went to Aquaria. Dak Abang was exception because he has to sell more Porche car and produce more Porche on the road. so, a big BOO for you Along. but it's okayy Dzariff was totally enjoying himself even if without the father coming along. Buut, Dak Angah made a boo-boo during working the night before made her went to bed at 6 a.m. (I wish I can be like her working from home.) so she and her whole family didn't follow us. So, there was Me, Kakak, Dzariff, Mom and Dad.

we went to Aquaria around 10 a.m because it opens at 10.30 am. we went in the morning because we no need to rush to get a parking space. in the morning also got a lot of people already.

the ticketing fees are RM 35 for adults and RM 25 for senior citizens and free for infants and toddlers.
(senior citizens : 60 year-old of age, not 55. poor mommy she has to pay RM 35)
(children : 3 year-old until 12 year-old of age. choke blood -- direct translation of cekik darah)

but i think the price is reasonable enough because they got a lot of animals other than fish. they got mammals, amphibians and fish. the fish are also very interesting to see :)

Piranhas. yes, the skeleton is fake tho. Please note that piranhas do NOT eat humans.

Electrocuted fish. One of the is electrical eel and got another two. there were a lot of people until i couldn't get to take the picture.

this is a water rat. the size is much more bigger than a house cat. yes it's huge. don't worry it only live in the damp and not houses. Fun fact : it has nipples on the back side of the body to let the baby-rat suckle-ing milk while while swimming in the water

Water otter. very fun, cute critters. feel like kidnapping them in a gunny sack. hikhik

If they have amphibians, the snakes are also there. "I won't bite" sssss....

**Jaws background music** The centre of the attraction are the sharks! iikk!!!! well, the sharks aren't as much as Singapore's but boleh laaa... we can see the sharks and other fish in the tunnel aquarium. we can see the fish swimming freely on us. p/s : i can even see the fish's *@^%$.. hehehe.

Feeding time! we only got to see the feeding time of the giant tank. there were two divers giving the fish eat. the huge sting-ray name is Kudsia. can you spot her? She was captured in Taiwan by a fisherman but he donated Kudsia to Aquaria. seeing they feed the fish, only then I know the meaning of "Feeding Frenzy". it was madness.

After the aquarium belt, there are also other animals they put inside small aquariums; sea horses, jelly fish, shrimps, etc.

There is one corner in Aquaria shows how sharks are being caught and sliced-up and then they throw back the sharks into the water T_T that is so cruel. that is how shark's fin soup is made. i was crying during watching the video.

Before heading home, we signed a petition of stop eating shark's fin soup. One step for me of being animal activist (I hope more to come and can be done)

In conclusion, worth the money, worth the experience, good education info for children and adults
