I'm NOT Ready

I am spending my holidays with joy even though there are times that I have to go to work. Well duhh... The company doesn't pay for us to cuti right? Okay anyway, my big boss challenged me to do a course for the teachers regarding phonics. Well, I took the challenge but, as I'm preparing the notes and all, I found it very difficult.

Why did I say difficult? Firstly, it is not my strong subject (not like grammar or writing skills). It took me like 3 years to learn because that particular subject is wide and related to other subjects. The main thing that concerns me is will the teachers understand it? Even though Phonics is being taught in the school, but it comes with songs and gestures and it is not the same.

Secondly, if I do the course, and the teachers wouldn't understand, it is a waste right? I mean the thing that I've learned for 3 years is been squished to 2-hour class. And how am I going to relate it? I mean Phonology must come with Phonetics. It doesn't mean that a person can speak in English language and she can understand how does Phonology and Phonetics work. Because this is a jargon to them.

Haiyaiyai. Hopefully that big boss will be in her office and I can tell her this.

P/s : Teaching in a class and giving a course isn't the same even though it looks the same. Why? When in a class, topics are being divided and it has a long period of time to finish it all but a course is everything is squished up in a couple or hours.
