First Day in JB

As soon as we arrived, we had a quick lunch at Restoran Shahab Beriani House in Taman Universiti, Skudai while waiting for Cha and Fadh to come and fetch me up to Jue's house.

Johor is famous with nasi beriani gam and Restoran Shahab is one of the popular makan place.

The moment that we waiting for has arrived. Jue is the second Sister (in our sister-group) has engaged. She and her Mr. Fiancee have known for a quite some time. They will get married next year! Ohmaigoat! Ohmaigoat! Ohmaigoat! I am really happy for them both! ;)


My schedule is packed that day so, after the ceremony, Cha straight-away send me to the hotel and had a quick shower and off to Senibong for seafood ;)

See the excited face. Be prepare to be my meal Mr. Lobowe the lobster. Muhuhahaahaa!!


Then, me and the Sisters (er, one soon-to-be-bro-in-law) went to Roost Repurposed & Recycled in Jalan Dhoby, JB for a relaxing chit-chatting.

I am so amazed with this place because it is so That 70's Show in real life. The ambiance is relaxing and we can listen to 70's songs and bogey! It is actually a makan place and hey, a great 70's studio for camwhores camera friendly people ;)


Ever heard of Pasar Karat? Hurm... How about Uptown? Okay, you're a one good citizen then. Eh? Why? Because you know what's Uptown and Pasar Karat, silly! Hehehe... Pasar Karat is different from any other Uptown and night market because, here we can find everything! Every Tom, Dick and Harry's stuff are here. From the common things from shoes, clothes, and perfumes until to the things that we only see in supermarkets such as strollers, rice cookers, irons, washing machines and to the vintage and rare merchandise.

Just to capture a few shots because I was busy eating chocolate-covered-biscuit and chocolate-covered-marshmellows.

Sugar rush? I think it is more on chocolate rush! The chocolate is the main attraction. So creamy, so chocolaty, so.... heavenly taste. *head over heels
The packaging is simple - a cone-shape clear plastic and a spoon. I guess the slogan is "Easy to Munch When You Don't Wanna Go Shopping in a Bunch". Eeerr.. Okay, spontaneously created the slogan. Hahahaha....

After Pasar Karat, Fadh brought us jalan-jalan in JB area. Yeahh, it is good to have a local-touristguide along especially when you dunno the routes.
