Last night I went to a wedding. Huh? Wedding during Ramadan? Don't worry, the host knows that we are fasting and the wedding starts at 630 p.m and the food was served at 730 pm which it is break fast time. The wedding was simple and very religious. The event started with the bride and groom enter the hall (room) and sat down and then signed a few documents of marriage (civil) and there was an Emcee whom explained the process. I thought there will be a tok sami to pronounce "You are now husband and wife. You may kiss the bride". If it's a Christian wedding, maybe got la kot. But, this was a Bahai wedding. After the Emcee announced that they are legal, the host recite some prayers, and after that the father of the groom (which was the host) sang a song to the couple. After that, the mother of the groom and the father of the bride made a speech. It was very touching speech.
As for me, during the prayers, it was time to break fast, so Erika, Normah and I dengan pantasnya go and berbuka. The food was yummmaaayyyh..!!! The food are mostly homemade. Yes, homemade and that is why the food was so nyumnyumnyumnyummm...~
Pssst... Let take a peek of the wedding..
P/s : My dream wedding is a simple wedding but, there will be a proper pelamin, alas meja and cute deco.
